I am a long term resident of Peace River having moved here in 1967 from Ottawa, Ontario. I graduated from Peace River High School in 1982 and had a couple of different occupations before deciding to pursue an teaching career.
I graduated from the University of Alberta in 1993 with a Batchelor of Education degree with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Drama. I then taught for a year and a half in Ft. Chipewan, and then began teaching for Peace River School division at MrGrath Elementary.
I began teaching at Peace River High School in 1996 and have taught many different subjects and grade levels.
I became the principal of Lloyd Garrison School in Berwyn in 2006 and recieved a Master of Education Degree from the University of Lethbridge in 2007. I then came back to Peace High as the Vice Principal in 2009.
I enjoy many different athletic activities in all seasons, acting in the local community theatre, playing guitar and lap steel, and officiating football, hockey, and volleyball.
I am currently the Co-Principal at Fairview High School for the second semester.
