I teach the CTS shop courses at Peace River High School. I have taught here since 1990. We have a full program of construction, fabrication and mechanics. I have participated in apprenticeship training through NAIT for carpentry, welding and machining. I enjoy the creative process of building new things and learning new skills. I have two sons. Tim just graduated from the Uof A with his engineering degree. He is now gainfully employed. I have worked with my youngest son Randall for the past six months building a fourplex. We were both able to develop some new skills.
We have a great shop facility here at Peace High. Students have the ability to develop many new skills that will help them pursue their interests and career goals
