PH Students give back to the Community
Once again students from Peace River High School participated in a Coin Drive to raise money for the Salvation Army Toys for Tots campaign and the Peace River Food Bank. Classes competed in a friendly competition to bring in the most money per capita. In total, the school raised $3128.84 for the worthy causes. Pictured is the winning class, Miss Favreau’s grade nine French Immersion group, who won the right to spend the class shopping for presents by raising over $80 per student. Also pictured is Community Ministries Officer Major Grayling Crites accepting the donation on behalf of the Salvation Army. A huge thank you goes out to all the students and staff members who contributed to this very worthwhile cause. From all the staff and students at Peace River High School, may the joy of the holiday season be in your heart the whole year. Merry Christmas!
